This clean playground features updated play sets suitable for children ages 2 to 5 and 5 to 12. Kids can slide, jump, climb and run in a spacious environment.

The high viewpoint and hanging bridge are built for serious fun. Parents can stay near enough for their comfort but far enough to give their kids some space for adventure under the nearby pavilion.

You will find people playing tennis on the nearby courts and moms chatting on benches nestled in the shade as they watch their little ones swing around on the tire swing or zip down the slides.

The playscape has the usual swing set and slides, but there was also a very cool contraption that kids could stand on while using their weight to push themselves around in a circle.

Equipment is in good shape, and the larger play area is shaded. Both areas provide children a lot of variety, including tunnels, bridges, climbing structures, jungle gyms and many different slides, as well as swings and a sandbox.

Here kids can choose from four slides, swings and monkey bars. A nearby pavilion is nice for a party or for parents to watch.

The two playground areas are located next to a pond surrounded by several North Irving apartment communities and a walking trail.

A basketball court, sand volleyball pit, picnic pavilions and playground area are all present on the property. Kids will enjoy playing pirate on the playground modeled after a pirate ship.

There are two separate playgrounds for different age groups as well as a seesaw and swings.

The structure is well maintained and offers multiple play opportunities with four slides, a lookout window, climbing bars and bouncing horses.

Possum Playground is small, but the two (and evidently updated) playscapes make up for the size.

Surrounding this playscape (and beyond Wilkerson Park) were large trees, jogging/ biking trails, bridges, small waterfalls with a trickling creek and boulders.

The playground is one structure for all ages with a tunnel connecting the separate sides for younger and older children.
