Mother’s Day Brunch at Saint Rocco’s
Details: When you’ve been craving pasta, there’s nothing better than an Italian restaurant like Saint Rocco’s New York Italian in Trinity Groves, which we love as much for the food as we do for the view of downtown. Their Mother’s Day brunch features a full spread: an antipasti table, “breakfast pizza,” and entrees like chicken scarpariello. For the carnivores in your family, the carving station serves up Wagyu beef and rosemary-crusted rack of lamb. And, it’s your day, so who’se to say you can’t order the desserts first? New York cheesecake and cannoli, coming right up.

Mother’s Day Brunch at Hotel Vin
Details: Speaking of Italy, an Aperol Spritz is the signature drink at the annual Mother’s Day brunch at Downtown Grapevine’s gorgeous boutique hotel, Hotel Vin. Head up to the fourth-floor ballrooms for a spread of pastries and lots of stations for waffles and French toast, eggs and omelets, seafood and pasta. And of course they’ll have mac and cheese and chicken tenders. See the full menu here and reserve your tickets for either the first or second seating. Mother’s Day Brunch at Movie Tavern

Details: Want to go super casual? How about dinner during a movie? Two locations for dine-in theater chain Marcus Movie Taverns, in Fort Worth and Denton, are both hosting a Mother’s Day brunch during a screening one of our favorite classic movies, The Wizard of Oz. While relaxing in their DreamLounger seats, which are super cushions and fully recline, you’ll get to feast on pancakes and pastries to brisket and shrimp cocktail.

Historic Home Tours
Swiss Avenue Historic District Mother’s Day Home Tour
Details: Fairmount isn’t the only district hosting a home tour this weekend. The Swiss Avenue Historic District in Old East Dallas is hosting its own annual tour. Take a look at the 2025 featured homes here. Two of them are a century old—and they’re all fabulously updated to their modern owners’ tastes. The neighborhood will be a lively scene, with live music and food trucks all weekend at the district’s Savage Park. There’s even a living history performance at one of the houses on Saturday, and on Sunday, a Mother’s Day brunch at Society Bakery with two seatings.

Fairmount National Historic District Home Tour
Details: Fort Worth’s historic Fairmount district is much-admired for its Craftsman bungalows, and for everyone else who’s ever drooled while driving through the early 20th-century neighborhood, here’s your chance to step inside some of them. Six homes will be open to the public for this annual tour on Mother’s Day Weekend. Kids are welcome too, so bring them with you if you like, or head out with your friends to see inside some chic, drool-worthy homes.

The Spa at the Joule
Details: Also for mom-to-be yearning for a prenatal massage or quality R&R, book a treatment inside this boutique hotel’s luxury spa. See the full spa menu here. This spa is much sought after for the facials and clinical skincare treatments with French skincare line Biologique Recherche, for its vitality pool, sauna and steam rooms, and of course of the massage services. When you’re ready for some sunlight, head to the rooftop pool, 8 feet of which jut out over the ledge for an unforgettable view below. The Joule’s pool is open daily to resort guests and open Monday–Thursday to non-guests with a $40 day pass.
