For all session types, she will travel to you, ensuring that each photoshoot provides a truly one-of-a-kind result.
With maternity shoots, parents can expect the sessions to last 30 minutes. Best of all, maternity sessions can be of just you and your spouse or of your entire family, including pets. For this, she charges $300, and you’ll receive 20 fully edited images.
Conversely, her birth photography involves the documentation of active labor, your child’s birth and two hours of your postpartum period. This can be a fantastic way to showcase both the end of your pregnancy and your entrance into motherhood. For these packages, Johnson is on call starting at 38 weeks and pricing begins at $1,550.

LaLa Photography DFW
Family photography franchise LaLa Photography DFW, owned by Mandy Kirkwood, gives North Texas families beautiful and affordable snapshots that document the many stages of their pregnancy and parenthood journeys. They have seven photographers on staff across two studio locations (one in Fort Worth and another in Flower Mound), so scheduling a session is typically not an issue. They offer posed and candid photography options on creative sets at both studios and, except for newborn packages, will also go on location for all other types of shoots.
Don’t know what to wear? Not to worry. Maternity clients gain access to over 50 gowns for their sessions, with outfits and props offered for newborn shoots too. Sessions range from 20 minutes to three hours and cost between $59 to $289, with financing options available. Most sessions include three to five final images, with the option to purchase more. Melissa D Photography
For 16 years, Melissa Dieterich, owner and photographer of Melissa D Photography, has been photographing mothers and their babies, capturing the many spectacular motherhood moments in their lives. Her various maternity sessions include access to a client wardrobe, props and accessories and typically last one to two hours. You can book a shoot at either an outdoor setting, or in her home studio in Richland Hills. And clients will get 10 to 25 fully edited images, depending on the package you select.
When it comes to newborn photography, safety is her number one concern. She has taken numerous infant safety courses online to learn proper posing techniques and sanitizes all props and equipment after each session.
