Ride Trinity Metro to Fun Summer Destinations

Affordable and comfortable trips across DFW via bus, rail and rideshare

Summertime means family fun time! The exciting news for DFW families is that Trinity Metro offers affordable transportations for traveling to popular destinations. From day trips on trains to local bus rides, you have great options!

TEXRail commuter rail line

Many travelers ride TEXRail to DFW Airport to save time and money. The comfortable and sleek train arrives on schedule more than 98% of the time—and you can’t beat the price! Adult tickets are only $2.50 each way or $5 for unlimited rides all day. Youth ages 5–19, seniors 65 and older, and veterans pay half that price—a mere $1.25 one way or $2.50 for the whole day. Children 4 and younger ride for free. Keep in mind that an all-day ticket also includes bus rides and the popular ZIPZONE on-demand rideshare service.

TEXRail is perfect for children, parents and grandparents to take memorable day trips while relaxing and looking out the window. The train makes stops in Fort Worth, North Richland Hills and Grapevine, so it’s easy to travel around the Metroplex and take in the local entertainment.
