There’s a new device that gives peace of mind to caregivers of meandering children with autism or other neurological challenges. The EmFinders device looks much like a wristwatch, and uses cellular-location technology that links with police departments to help locate your child.
Dubbed “EmSeeQ,” the apparatus uses cellular triangulation to determine the location of your loved one. If your child is wearing the band and eludes your watch, call 911 and create a missing person’s report. The dispatcher will provide a case number that you can share with the EmFinders operator. EmFinder activates the wrist device and coordinates with local 911 dispatch centers to locate the child—giving children the freedom they desire without sacrificing safety.
