Sycamore Park is a burst of color sitting right off of Rosedale Street in Fort Worth. Surrounded by trees, this shady playground is a great place for moms to relax and kids to run wild. Instead of two playgrounds for older and younger kids, there is one large play structure for children of all ages. A guardrail divides the structure in half. One side is designated for younger children, with smaller slides and lower platforms. The other side has higher platforms and slides for older kids. Children can be viewed easily on the equipment; even the tube slide has a small window so you can keep an eye on your little ones at all times. The playground is located next to Sycamore Community Center, which is also where the restrooms are located. This beautiful playground did, however, contain some litter, graffiti and a crack in one of its crawling tubes. Sycamore Park playground scored an 18 out of 24, giving it an overall grade of a B on the Safety Report Card. 2525 E. Rosedale St., Fort Worth.
