Marcus Park in Dallas

Location: 3003 Northaven Road. Located between the Marcus Recreation Center and Marcus Elementary School. It’s best to park at the recreation center.

Why it’s noteworthy: Big kids will enjoy three levels of climbing and getting lost in the maze of tubes and bridges.

Extras: There is a covered pavilion and baseball fields next to the playground.

Safety: Marcus Park scored a B* on the Safety Report Card. One of the slides has a crack, there is rust throughout the equipment and there is no play area for ages 2–5. The only play structure has three levels and is designed for older kids. Little ones will need Mom or Dad’s help to safely climb and navigate the structure. The whole playground is in need of a facelift, including fresh paint and bark to cover the ground.
