Heritage Park in Euless

Location: 203 Cullum Drive, Euless. The playground isn’t visible from the street; turn in at the Euless Heritage Museum and park there. The playground is just yards from the Euless city water tower.

What makes it noteworthy: There is only one play structure for all ages and the side for younger kids has a wheelchair ramp, but you have to travel over uneven gravel to access it. There are no swings, with the exception of one plastic tire swing. The playground is surrounded by trees but is small and outdated.

Extras: A visit to this playground could turn into a mini field trip for your family. It is located next to the Euless Heritage Museum, the historic Fuller House, Himes Log Cabin and McCormick Barn. The Fuller House is open to the public the second Saturday of each month from 1–5pm.

Safety: There are some cracks and rust on the equipment, and there isn’t any a barrier to keep younger kids from crossing the bridge to the equipment for big kids. While the playground is older, there’s nothing that poses a major safety threat. Heritage Park scored a B* on the Safety Report Card.
