As an experienced nurse and first time pregnant mom of color, I was concerned about the care that would be provided to my baby and I. I wanted to be heard and treated equally. Johanna was the first midwife I met and interviewed at Midwife and Co and she genuinely listened and acknowledged my concerns. As I continued going to the practice, I found that the entire staff was the same way. They have become family to me and I am so grateful for the excellent care they provided for us (I would nominate them all if I had the time). Johanna continues to be a comforting provider and consistently delivers great care of me and my family. We are preparing for baby number 2 and so grateful to have her be a part of this journey. –Jahnett, Irving
