Tran, Courtney MD

Hi! I’m Dr. Courtney Tran, here’s a little bit more about me! From a young age, I knew I wanted to become a pediatrician. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and my frequent medical visits allowed me to bond with my pediatrician. I remember making paper charts for my dolls and examining them just like my doctor did.

I grew up in both Arlington and Decatur. I earned my Bachelor degree from Austin College and my Doctor of Medicine from Texas A&M Health Science Center. After medical school, I moved to Oklahoma City to complete my three-year residency at the University of Oklahoma Children’s Hospital. I returned to North Texas in 2019 and was in private practice prior to joining Cook Children’s.

I live in McKinney with my husband, daughter Penelope, and three cats. I look forward to helping you make sure your kids stay happy and healthy at Cook Children’s Celina!
