As a child, I spent a lot of time in hospitals because my sister suffered from a chronic illness. From that experience I knew that I wanted to become a doctor.

I’ve been a pediatrician for 27 years. Following the completion of medical school and my residency at Dartmouth, I directed a rural hospital in Haiti for 2 1/2 years, and then practiced in New Hampshire (my home state) for a few years.

For the past 21 years it has been my pleasure to care for children in the Fort Worth area as a member of Cook Children’s Physician Network. I’ve had the privilege of knowing some families from the time of their children’s birth all the way through their high school years. I now have some former patients returning with their own babies!

I truly enjoy taking the time to know my patients well, while providing guidance and education to parents over the years.

Outside of working hours, I most enjoy spending time with my own family and friends. My interests include outdoor activities, fitness, reading, knitting and I love to explore new places – near and far.
