Location: 4351 Carter Park Drive, Fort Worth. Playground is located at the northeast corner of Seminary Drive and Carter Park Drive. Playground is visible from the street.
Why it’s noteworthy: There are three games built into the play structure. One has animal pictures and trivia, and the other two are matching games. There is one large structure divided in half by a guardrail to separate the age appropriate play areas. This will make it easier for moms to keep an eye on all of their kiddos at the same time.
Extras: There’s an open grassy area next to the playground that would be great for a picnic, Frisbee, kicking around a soccer ball or a good game of tag.
Safety: This playground scored a B* on the Safety Report Card. The playground is in need of a facelift with litter, rust, and faded and chipped paint throughout. The equipment is in overall good condition and children will be able to play safely; however, you’ll want to make sure kiddos stay out from underneath the merry-go-round and away from the creek located behind the playground. There’s no parking lot, so you’ll have to park on the street.
