Bradford Crossing in Allen

Location: 1405 Bradford Trace Drive in Allen, at the intersection of Prairie View and Bradford Trace.

Why it’s noteworthy: Bradford Crossing has a large play area with three slides, four swings and two spring-loaded toys for younger children. Right behind the playground is a full-size basketball court.

Extras: The park is fairly average, though there are several trees and a covered pavilion to provide lots of shade.

Safety: This playground received an A* on the Safety Report Card; however, the playground is not marked to indicate which age group it’s intended for and there is no separate play area for younger children. Also, at the time of our review, there were about 30 children from elementary to middle school age at the playground with no adults present for supervision, which could be dangerous for younger kids.
