Oil and Cotton

We are a community art space near downtown serving Oak Cliff and greater Dallas since 2010. We offer classes for ages two to adults, from absolute beginners to professional artists. Our weekly hands-on art history program is offered year-round in our studio and in partnership with area schools. We offer school’s out camps on all major holidays, spring break and all summer.

Our toddler takeovers and weekly art classes are an excellent first classroom experience for new parents of toddlers. School-age programs for ages 5+ focus on using our hands to learn, understand each other, and express ourselves confidently, while learning the elements of art – line, shape, color, texture, and value.

Teen portfolio development classes empower ages 10+ to develop techniques and show their work, share their ideas, and find community with other kids.
Oil and Cotton is owner-operated alongside professional, mature, and compassionate teachers. Located in West Dallas, near Commerce and Beckley, our studio is bright and cheerful with room to spread out and create messes and masterpieces alike. Reach out for more information.
