Alyssa has helped our son feel empowered to express his emotions which has helped with decreasing the amount of melt downs he had in the past when he couldn’t articulate how he was feeling. His speech has exploded in the almost year they’ve been working together and I’m so thankful for her compassion that’s shown in her sessions with our son. —Christina, Little Elm
My son has grown and improved his speech so much. He is able to communicate and is understood enough to make friends that he never had before. —Ashley, Frisco
I have seen tremendous improvement in my son’s speech since he started seeing Alyssa. Previously, his speech development was progressing as a slower pace than his peers, and the delays were becoming noticeable and consequential. Over the past several months with Alyssa, not only am I able to understand the majority of what he is saying, but his teachers are able to as well. While there is still room for improvement, I know he would not be in this current state without Alyssa’s expertise.
She is extremely kind, communicative, knowledgeable and excellent at finding ways to connect with my son so he can learn while playing. Additionally, I always tell people how her sharing information and target areas with me has been helpful, as I was unaware of some of the sounds he was missing that caused misunderstandings in his speech. I’ve been very happy with our experience with Alyssa so far and look forward to future progress as we continue our sessions. —Rochelle, Plano

Alyssa is by far one of the best people that I have on my daughter’s care team. When you have a child with special needs your support system is a vital part of survival. Alyssa has stepped in to our rotation and has gone above and beyond, really getting to know my child and finding ways for our communication to grow. Not just with our family but through school as well. She has partnered with my child’s school to get the care she needs and help assist with her continued development. She listens to my needs, helps my daughter learn how to express her needs and I couldn’t be happier. —Lakeesha, Little Elm
Alyssa is a great advocate for her patients and makes therapy sessions fun. —Elysa, Frisco
