As a young single mother I was dragged to Dr Whitfield by a friend. I was then diagnosed with precancerous cells in my cervix, and I received a questionable mammogram. All I could think of was how am I going to take care of my kids. Dr Whitfield tried every time I saw him to calm me down and put out my fears. He explained everything in great detail and answered every single question I had. After 2 years of having follow up visits every 2 months I finally demanded the complete removal of the offending organ I was tired of it and no reason to risk it since I didn’t want any more kids. Dr Whitfield chuckled at my outburst and said ok ok one more time. Everything was fine just like he said (he made sure to remind me) and I’ve been with him every since. No doctor has ever made me feel like they actually know me as well as Whitfield. He remembers conversations from my last visit, he asks about the family, he’s not afraid to chastise me if I need a good talking to but most importantly he makes sure I understand everything about whatever we are discussing because he knows it’s the only way to keep me calm. – Amy, Ranger
