North Texas Performing Arts Summer Camps

Step into the spotlight this summer with North Texas Performing Arts Summer Camps!

NTPA offers one of the most comprehensive performing arts camp programs in Texas, with creative experiences for students ages 5–18. From acting and theatre to visual art and filmmaking, our camps give young performers the opportunity to explore their creativity, build confidence, and make new friends in a fun, supportive environment led by professional directors and teaching artists.

Each week-long camp immerses students in hands-on performing and visual arts activities. Depending on the camp, students may explore acting techniques, improvisation, theatre games, dance and movement, character creation, storytelling, and visual art projects such as painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Many camps culminate in a Friday showcase where families can see what their students have created throughout the week.

NTPA offers a wide variety of camp experiences designed for different ages and interests. Younger students can participate in Art & Drama camps that blend theatre and visual art through storytelling and creative play. Older students can dive deeper into performance through Center Stage camps and full-day production camps, where they rehearse scenes, develop acting skills, and perform for family and friends.

Students interested in filmmaking can join NTPA Film Studios camps, where they will learn acting for the camera, storytelling, and filmmaking techniques while creating and starring in their own short films.

NTPA also proudly offers inclusive programming through NTPA Deaf Theatre and NTPA Starcatchers camps, designed for Deaf students and students with disabilities, ensuring every young artist has the opportunity to participate in the magic of theatre.

All NTPA programs are guided by the NTPA Ten Characters leadership program, which focuses on developing teamwork, leadership, responsibility, respect, self-confidence, integrity, discipline, gratitude, positive attitude, and love for others.
Whether students join for one week or several, NTPA Summer Camps provide an unforgettable experience where creativity, confidence, and character take center stage.
