When I became pregnant with my son I knew I wanted a midwife on my birthing team but also wanted to deliver in a hospital since I had never done it before and knew being in the hospital was safest for my son and I. During my prenatal appointments I only met with Adrienne or her counterpart Meagan who is equally phenomenal. They took detailed notes so the other could pick up right where we left off at each visit. Once I start having contractions and gave them a heads up what was going on I spoke with Adrienne directly the entire time. Adrienne knew my wishes and respected them the entire time. There came a point where we had the C-section conversation but she recommended trying different positions before going that route thankfully those positions worked and I was able to deliver a health baby boy. Adrienne made all the difference in the world she was calm honest but stern when needed it was an amazing experience that I am forever grateful to her for.
