Dr. Cara is a gem! She is beyond knowledgeable and personable. She was able to provide proactive care throughout majority pregnancy and truly prepared me for what to expect as it related to birthing. —Danielle, Anna
I started seeing Dr. Cara for pelvic pain and bladder problems that were severely impacting my quality of life. I was referred to her by a urologist when it became clear that urology and gynecology weren’t going to provide any answers. I began noticing results after only a few weeks of care. Within a few months, I could leave my house for more than 15 minutes without charting the distance to the nearest bathroom. From day one she put me at ease and gave me hope that I could enjoy life again. I can now experience intimacy without pain and don’t have to wear pads everywhere I go in case I have an accident. I even started drinking coffee again (a bladder irritant) after a decade of not having any. I continued under her care when I became pregnant and am convinced my pelvic floor would be much worse after giving birth if it wasn’t for her. She explains everything in a simple, relatable way that everyone can understand and has always been very supportive and compassionate when talking to me. A pelvic doctor is someone you really need to be comfortable around and I can’t imagine going to anyone but her. After having horrible gynecology and IVF experiences, to say she has been a life saver is an understatement. I joke that she’d better not retire as long as I’m alive. —Bronwyn, Allen
