Location: 1430 Brazos Blvd. Located at the corner of Brazos Boulevard and Garden Ridge Boulevard.
What makes it noteworthy: Outfitted with three slides, four swings, two sets of monkey bars and a rock-climbing wall keep kids entertained.
Extras: There’s a counting game with pictures and numbers in one area of the playground, offering kids some outdoor fun with basic math. For parents, there’s a covered gazebo with open sightlines to the entire playground.
Safety: This playground received an A* on the Playground Safety Report Card. Nothing stood out as dangerous, although there were a few scuff marks on the slide. Note: There aren’t any bathrooms in the park.
