What makes it noteworthy: The recent renovations to this bug-themed playground make it a true gem in the lineup of playgrounds in the North Dallas area. In addition to two play structures for tots and big kids, this playground has swings for two age groups, spring riders, a music play station, monkey bars, a braille educational panel and lots of climbing and sliding apparatuses.
Extras: The Les Lacs Trail weaves around this completely redone playground, making it a perfect pit stop on your afternoon stroll with the kids.
Safety: This playground scored an A* on the Playground Safety Report Card. The rubber flooring, separate play structures for different ages and location adjacent to a quiet neighborhood make it a parent’s safety dream.
