Surrounded by beautiful pine trees and the historical Staton Oaks Tree, you’ll find a safe and inviting playscape ideal for younger kids. Though small, it has three slides (one twisty and two straight), a raised and covered tunnel for kids to crawl through that connects both ends of the play structure, a steering wheel (perfect for wandering imaginations) and a ladder. This park is an ideal spot for picnics on sunny days since trees provide the necessary shade with plenty of benches, trash cans and hills for kids to roll down on. Though located on a busy intersection at Morris Road and Firewheel Drive, the park poses no safety concerns since the playscape is fenced in and located a safe distance away from the streets.
