Temple Trails Park in Farmers Branch scored an A* for its safe playground and well-kept environs. Swings are available for children of all ages, and the playground offers many options for kids looking to climb, crawl and slide. Large trees provide numerous shady areas and there are plenty of spots for parents to sit and watch, although children may be difficult to view while in some crawl spaces. Feel free to bring your racket, because there is also a tennis court on the property. There is only one playground, which appears to cater to kids ages 5–12. Use the restrooms before you leave home and be prepared to park on the street.
