Location: 2200 Tallyho Lane, Dallas. Located in a residential neighborhood south of Singleton Boulevard.
Why it’s noteworthy: Little ones might be disappointed to find there are no swings at this park. The playground is in need of an overall makeover; however, the park is spread out with plenty of trees and shade. The playground has one large play structure for ages 2–12, with monkey bars and a large twisty slide.
Extras: There is a nearby basketball court.
Safety: This park scored a C* on the Safety Report Card. The slides have cracks that could pinch little legs and there is chipped paint, rust, graffiti and litter throughout the park. The side of the play structure for younger kids has an opening to the monkey bars that could easily lead to a tumble. If you’re looking for a playground in the area, we recommend foregoing Bishop Flores and visiting dfwchild.com/playgrounds for alternatives.
