Grand Menorah Lighting // Allen

When Dec. 14 at 4:30–5:30pm; Menorah lit at 5pm
More info Join the celebration as the Chabad of Allen and McKinney lights its 9-foot Menorah. With a magician, Hanukkah bags, donuts and more, it’s safe to say this event will keep a smile on your kiddo’s face. Seating will be spaced out; masks and hand sanitizer will be readily available. 

Annual Community Chanukah Celebration // Frisco
Hosted by Chabad of Frisco

More info Enjoy treats, dreidels, gelt, crafts for kids, balloon artists and more at this celebration. Guests can enjoy a COVID-safe holiday with family seating pods, social distancing, and contactless distribution of goody bags. Registration is required for this free event but donations are appreciated.

The Start of Fire’n’Ice Chanukah // Plano

More info Celebrate the first night of Hanukkah with your family at the Shops at Willow Bend with a fire show, live sculpting of an ice menorah and live music. The event will be held outside and socially distanced. 

Dallas County Hanukkah Celebrations

What to know This unique Hanukkah event lets families safely celebrate in two ways—via car parade starting at Chabad of Dallas, or in the JCC parking lot for the menorah lighting. Masks and social distancing are required; participants will remain in their vehicles.

More info Shop ’til you drop but make sure you stop by the Chabad of Dallas’ Menorah display on Level 1 between Neiman Marcus and Dillard’s. All visitors are required to wear an appropriate face covering.

Denton County Hanukkah Celebrations

CKA Chanukah Drive-In Movie // Flower Mound

More info Throw on your PJs and head to CKA’s drive-in event and see two special Hanukkah showings. Food and drinks will be served car-side—we’re talking latkes, jelly donut popcorn, juice boxes and water—and delivered by masked and gloved servers. There will also be a socially-distanced photo booth.
