Nature lovers can spend the day playing and exploring at the Villages of Bear Creek Park. Two playgrounds sit right off a three-mile nature trail complete with plant and tree identification signs. The abundance of trees provides plenty of shade for both playgrounds, keeping the equipment cool to the touch. Each playground consists of multiple slides, rock climbing walls and many other ways for children to climb and explore. Keep a close eye on your little ones, because the 2–5 play area sits close to a street. Bring a ball or Frisbee, because there’s plenty of open space to run and play. A large pavilion, multiple picnic tables and grills make this a great park for a family get-together or cookout. There are no restrooms, though there are two portable toilets near the playgrounds. The Villages of Bear Creek Park is a safe, clean place to take your family, scoring 22 out of 24 on the Safety Report Card. 1951 Bear Creek Pkwy.
