This playground is nestled inside lush and wooded Trinity Park, located only 1 mile away from the Fort Worth Zoo. Parents will appreciate the shaded benches and scenic views, while the kids will love playing on one (or all!) of the three separate playscapes. All three have platforms with appropriate guardrails and room enough to allow a change in direction for entering and exiting the structure.
But this playground lacks several safety features that are required for a higher rating. With a shallow layer of loose fill and a lack of suitable surface material, a child could suffer a painful injury from a fall off of the equipment. There are also no rules posted on appropriate playground behavior so parents should exercise caution while kids are at play. Additional supervision is a good idea if you plan a trip to Trinity Park’s playground.
