Ready to make help make this season brighter for local families in needs? Toy drives are a great way to teach your kids the importance of giving back, so take your little ones with you as you grab a few gifts and then donate them to deserving families via these local toy drives around Dallas-Fort Worth.

Dallas County Toy Drives

WFAA’s Santa’s Helpers // Dallas
When: Nov. 25 – Dec. 20, 2022
Donate at: Several drive-thru events:
-Tuesday, December 6 from 5–8pm, Frisco Fire Safety Town, 8601 Gary Burns Dr, Frisco
-Thursday, December 8 from 5–8pm, Historic Downtown McKinney, 111 N. Tennessee Street
-Tuesday, December 13 from 5–8pm, Don Davis Auto Group, 1903 N. Collins St., Arlington
-Wednesday, December 14 from 5–8pm, Montgomery Plaza, 2600 W. 7th Street, in Fort Worth
-Thursday, December 15 from 5–10:30pm, WFAA Young Street Studios, 606 Young, Dallas

Asking for: New, unwrapped toys for infants through teens; monetary donations available through WFAA’s Santa Helpers Amazon wish list.

Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center’s Holiday of Hope Toy Drive // Dallas
When: Accepting new and unwrapped toys and gift donations through Friday, Dec. 9, 2022. Items can be dropped off Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm.
Where: 5351 Samuell Bouvelard, Dallas
Asking for: This year DCAC’s annual Holiday of Hope program anticipates serving nearly 2,000 children ages 0–17, with a focus on providing gifts to teenagers, an often overlooked population for toy drives. Each child will receive a reading book, a fuzzy blanket, and three to four age-appropriate gifts. Specific requests can be found at dcac.org/holiday, including links to online wish lists such as Target and Amazon.

FaLaLa Lakewood Christmas Toy Drive // Dallas
This third annual toy drive doubles as a parade, with Santa and his elves driving through the streets of the Lakewood district and collecting thousands of toys from front yards and loading them up into Santa’s sleigh.
When: Saturday, Dec. 3, 1:30–5pm
Where: Lakewood district in Dallas. Follow the Facebook event for updates on the exact route.
Asking for: Please meet us on the route and bring only new, unwrapped gifts and toys. See Holiday of Hope post above for details.

Community Partners of Dallas // Dallas
When: Looking for an easy way to bring joy to children in need in need this holiday season? Donate virtually by selecting to purchase specific gifts in their online marketplace, or drop off your gifts in-person Monday–Friday 9am–5pm. Must donate before Friday, December 9 at 1pm. For questions, call 214/624-7588 or email ashley@cpdtx.org.
Where: CPD Toy Drive Warehouse at 7950 Elmbrook Drive, Dallas
Asking for: New, unwrapped gifts for infants up to age 18. See specific gift ideas by age group here.

“Integrity Gives Back” Toy Drive for Children’s Medical Center
For the second year, the Dallas-based Integrity Marketing Group is sponsoring a toy drive for Children’s Medical Center Dallas. For every single toy donated, Integrity will donate two additional toys to young patients receiving treatment and undergoing surgery at Children’s.
When: Now through December 16
Where: Online
Asking for: Stuffed animals, toys and books to be purchased from the Amazon Wish List at integritygivesback.org. The toys ordered are shipped to Integrity’s downtown Dallas offices and Integrity will deliver all toys to the hospital before Christmas.

Tarrant County Toy Drives

Southlake Police & Fire Toy Drive // Southlake
When: Nov. 19 – Dec. 24, 2022
Donate at: Look for the large donation box inside the lobbies at:
– 2100 West Southlake Boulevard, Southlake
– 100 East Dove Road, Southlake
– 600 State Street (Police or Fire Lobby), Southlake
Asking for: A new unwrapped toy for any age group from infant to teen, boy or girl.

Grapevine Santa Cops Toy Drive // Grapevine
When: Call Sergeant Bobby Smith at 817/410-3252 for specific dates.
Donate at: Santa Cops accepts toy donations starting in November, with toy drop-off boxes at:
Grapevine Public Safety Building, City Hall, The REC, Palace Theatre, Hotel Vin, Chill Grapevine, Grapevine Runners Club, and D-Bat Southlake. Monetary donations are accepted during regular business hours at the Grapevine Public Safety Building.
If you’d like to help wrap the toys, register for one of three scheduled wrapping nights from 5–8pm on Dec. 6, 8 or 13 at Toy Shoppe, 1217 SH-114, Suite 100 in Grapevine.

Collin County Toy Drives

Holiday at Fairview Town Center // Fairview
When: Each Saturday from 3–7pm Nov. 12 through Dec. 17
Donate at: This Fairview outdoor shopping center hosts six holiday events—each with a different theme and activity—and collecting toy donations for local children served by Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County. New this year: To join the holiday events, purchase a day pass or season pass online. Unlimited activity day passes are $20, and season passes for unlimited activities at all six events is $60. Individual tickets will be available on event days at $1 each or 6 for $5 cash only. Don’t want to attend the holiday events? You can also drop off toys through Dec. 17 at the Fairview Town Center management office Monday–Friday 8am–5pm.

Denton County Toy Drives

Denton Holiday Lighting Festival // Denton
When: Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, 6–9pm
Donate at: Denton Square, on the corner of Locus and East Oak streets
Asking for: Unwrapped toy donations or donate virtually here, in amounts starting at $5. The toys will go to Cumberland Youth & Family Services, which supports children, youth, young adults and families by providing stable housing, counseling, and supportive services that are age-appropriate and personalized to meet specific needs.
