Overall Grade: A* (22 points/24 points)

Clean restrooms
+ Covered and shaded areas
+ Playgrounds for different ages

– Stone staircase separating playgrounds
– Children may be difficult to view
– No sign indicating ages for small playground

Two playgrounds, lighted basketball courts, a sand volleyball court, horse shoe pits, an amphitheater, grills, restroom facilities, picnic tables and a covered pavilion are just the beginning at Town Park, located off of North Main Street in Mansfield. The two playgrounds are designed for children of different ages and contain multiple slides, swings and climbing equipment. Little ones may need a hand to hold as they make their way up and down the stone staircase that separates the two playgrounds. Beautiful landscaping, clean facilities and security cameras are an added bonus. Plan a trip with your family and bring along your bicycles or strollers, because this unique park sits along Walnut Creek Linear Park, a nearly two-mile trail connecting five different parks in Mansfield. A safe design scored Town Park an A* on the Safety Report Card. Built in 2006, this relatively new park will provide families with fun-filled days for years to come. 500 N. Main St.
