Want to live like Johnny and June? Grab your urban cowboy for a night out on the town at the revamped Tillman’s Roadhouse.
Rancher-chic comes to life in a scene filled with rough-hewn wood accents (like barn wood tables and a stunning wall of tree-trunk slices) accented with leather, crystal chandeliers, sumptuous velvet banquette seating and – as quirky as it sounds – earth-colored damask wallpapering. When you’re done people-watching from your comfy seat (and sipping on your cool prickly pear margarita), fill your bellies with Tillman’s favorites such as chicken fried steak (with garlic “whippers”) or – my favorite – sweet jalapeno gnocchi.
Want to include the young’uns? Let them tag along (with their cowboy boots on, of course) for lunch, and be sure to treat the kids to their own plate of s’mores, brought to your table without lacking the campfire flavor. The Man in Black is sure to approve.
