Tietze Park Playground in Dallas

Tietze Park can be found on lower Greenville Avenue near SMU. Parking proved to be difficult as there was no dedicated parking area (kids should be closely supervised when getting in and out of the car from the busy street). But, once you get there, there’s plenty to keep the little ones busy. There are two playscapes (one for the younger kiddos and another for the bigger ones), a swing set and a mounted car for toddlers. Unfortunately, with sunny days still in our midst, the lack of shade to cover the playscape may make it too hot to let the little ones crawl through tubes and go down the slide. Despite the drawbacks, there was the audible laughter of happy kids from the nearby recreational pool. Also, there was a tennis court and park benches randomly situated within the park—in case mom wants to take a little breather.
