Your Tiny Dancer Will Take Center Stage at a Ballet Birthday Party

Take center stage at a ballet birthday bash, with tips from Toni and mom Rola

It only made sense that aspiring ballerina Toni take center stage at her fifth birthday party. Her mother, Rola Diya, turned to luxury kids’ party planning company The Art of Finesse to design a sweet swan-themed ballet party at the Smith Muse House in Frisco.

Every whimsical detail fit within the party’s pretty palette of golds, pinks, rose golds and greys—the fluttering swan decor, the fresh floral arrangements and the elaborate balloon arrangements that stretched from the entrance to frame the dessert table. Custom art by Amber Dominique Designs depicting the birthday girl dancing with a feathered friend adorned the walls, table settings, even water bottles and chocolate bars.

To make Toni’s day as sweet as possible, Rola ensured there was an abundance of sugary treats. The meticulously styled dessert table featured swan-shaped cake balls, floral lollipops with flecks of edible gold, cupcakes and ballet-inspired sugar cookies, but it was the multi-layer cake that stole the show: Courtesy of Kristi G’s Cupcakes, the cookies-and-cream confection was topped with a gilded swan featuring feathers made of white chrysanthemums.

Toni and her 35 guests flocked from magic shows to face painting, balloon art and storytelling sessions. After the final bows, the guests went home with pink feathery party favor boxes filled with organic treats.
