We’ve rounded up some of our favorite boutiques in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, all run by local moms who make our cities so great. Read on for our guide to mom-owned shops, and get to know these inspiring female entrepreneurs in your neighborhood, many of them we’ve previously featured as our Moms Next Door.
Vogue-approved style star Nasiba Adilova channeled her love of fashion for the under-10 set with her Dallas-based e-commerce site. Check out the mom of two’s list of must-haves here. You’ll love them because The Tot goes the extra mile to keep your kids safe by using third-party testing on every product we sell. Learn more about how they keep heavy metals and other toxins out of their products using The Tot Safety Test.

We’re more than a little in love with Brittany Cobb. Our OG mompreneur is the founder of Flea Style, an online and brick-and-mortar destination for vintage lovers. Visit Flea Style’s original location in Deep Ellum to explore Cobb’s curated collection of vintage duds, plus geodes, printed pillows and organic (and new, duh) skincare products. Looking for a Christmas gift for someone crafty in your life? Inquire about upcoming in-store workshops, which range from candle making to lettering.
Since opening her original store, Cobb’s business has fully blossomed into an empire that offers a plant bar, custom-made Stetson hats and all the vintages goodies you’ll want to grab before anyone else. Check out her blog for all the latest, including her new bungalow reno.

A visit to Laude the Label, formerly Tribe Alive, is like a trip abroad (basically), thanks to founder Carly Burson’s thoughtful selection of ethically-made apparel, accessories and homewares. This Mom Next Door works with at-risk women both in Fort Worth and around the world to empower female entrepreneurship and artistry. Stop by the storefront during showroom hours, and check out our recent Q&A with Burson for more about her investment in all things girl power.

Yes, you can shop this fashion line on the web, but for the best experience, you’ll really want to shop in-person at The KOCH House, housed inside a light-filled, 1920s bungalow in Uptown Dallas and owned by California-bred fashion designer Nicole Musselman. Koch started with handbags and small leather goods and now debuts four collections a year. We love that all their items are made within the United States, by artisans in Texas, California and New York, and we love her blog for more inspiration.
