Where to See Santa (Safely) in Dallas Fort Worth

On top of many of the other events that have needed adjustments this year, add the holidays to your list. Fortunately, the kids can still visit Santa without sacrificing social distancing. Check out the many spots around Dallas Fort Worth where you can visit and get a picture with St. Nick safely in a no-contact way, or even connect with him virtually!

See Santa in Collin County

Cabela’s // Allen
When: Through Dec. 24
What to know: Reservations are required. A free 4×6 photo and digital download is included; additional photo packages are also available for purchase. All visits with Santa will be contactless.

Watters Creek // Allen
When: Through Dec. 24
What to know: Choose from a contactless in-person experience or a virtual chat with the jolly man in red. Both options require a reservation. Sensitive Santa for kids with sensory sensitivities is available Dec. 6 from 9–11am.

Stonebriar Centre // Frisco
When: Virtual visits now through Jan. 7; in-person visits now through Dec. 25; now through Dec. 23, Monday–Saturday 11am–7pm, Sundays noon–6pm; Dec. 24 9am–5pm
What to know: Visit with Santa virtually and consider adding on “Storytime with The Clauses” or a pre-recorded personalized Santa video. Alternatively, visit in person. Reservations are required for both.

Christmas in the Square // Frisco
When: Through Jan. 4, 6–10pm
What to know: Get your photo with the jolly man in red for $10 per individual or $15 per group. Reservations are not required. As of Nov. 24, no safety information has been released.

Bingham House // McKinney
When: Dec. 13, 9–11am
What to know: Have breakfast with Santa and enjoy photo ops, storytime, hot chocolate, mimosas and more at Bingham House. To ensure social distancing, tickets are limited and doors will be open to ensure guests feel comfortable. Tickets are $40 for kids and $60 for adults. All activities, food and drinks are included.

Home for the Holidays // McKinney
When: Saturdays through Dec. 19; Dec. 5, 12, 19 1–4pm
What to know: Donations accepted. Photo ops will be socially distanced. Santa will be located next to MPAC on Kentucky Street.

The Shops at Legacy // Plano
When: Dec. 5–24, Saturdays 9am–1pm and 2–6pm; Sundays 2–6pm; Dec. 23 2–6pm; and Dec. 24 9am–1pm
What to know: Appointments are required; to book, click here or call 972/834-4300. Appointments are five minutes long. Social distancing and safety guidelines will be in effect.

The Shops at Willow Bend // Plano
When: Through Dec. 24, Monday–Saturday 11am–8pm; Sunday 11am–7pm
What to know: Three photo packages are available to purchase starting at $39.99; COVID-19 safety procedures are in place.

Heritage Farmstead Museum // Plano
When: Dec. 10–12, 6–10pm
What to know: As part of the museum’s A Texas Prairie Christmas, visiting Santa is available with hot cocoa, a tour of the museum, live longhorns, a lighted wagon tour and lighted displays. Cost is $30 per person.

Galleria Dallas // Dallas
When: Through Dec. 24
What to know: Santa will be available in-person, for a contactless photo as well as virtually. The virtual visit includes a keepsake video of your time with the big man. Reservations required; each package is $35.

Dallas Arboretum // Dallas
When: Now through Dec. 23; Santa visits available during evening hours from 6–9pm Sunday–Wednesday and 6–10pm Thursday–Saturday
What to know: Santa will be seated behind plexiglass so you can still get those fun family pictures. Tickets must be reserved in advance. Night admission is $20 for adults (nonmember) and $10 for kids from Nov. 11–25; $25 for adults (non-member) and $11 for kids from Nov. 27–Dec. 30. Face coverings are required.

Dallas Farmers Market // Dallas
When: Dec. 12, 10am–2pm
What to know: Prints of your photos available instantly for $15 each. Visits will be socially distanced, and masks are required.

Firewheel Town Center // Garland
When: Through Dec. 24, except Dec. 7; open noon–8pm; Dec. 24 open 10am–5pm
What to know: Advanced reservations are strongly encouraged. The photo op will be socially distanced. Santa and his helpers will wear masks; masks are required of visitors as well.

Neiman Marcus // Dallas, Plano & Fort Worth

What to know: Join Santa for breakfast in the store’s legendary winter wonderland. Reservations required. Call the Downtown location at 214/573-5800; the NorthPark location at 214/891-1210; the Willow Bend location at 972/244-2818; or the Fort Worth location at 817/989-4650.

Flower Mound Community Activity Center // Flower Mound
When: Dec. 5, 8–10:30am
What to know: Visit Santa at the Breakfast with Santa event held at the activity center. There are two seatings, one at 8am and one at 9:30am. For kids 11-years-old and younger, cost starts at $7; for kids older than 11, cost starts at $9. Pre-registration is required.

Music City Mall // Lewisville
When: Through Dec. 24
What to know: Reservations are required. Monday–Saturday, hours are from noon–8pm; Sundays 11am–6pm. Closed Nov. 30 and Dec. 7. Christmas Eve hours are 9am–5pm.

Golden Triangle Mall // Denton
When: Dec. 5–24
What to know: Visit Santa and check out the other fun activities including a snow room, a gumdrop forest, a toy test room and more. Hours vary, so check the website before going. Admission for ages 2–14 starts at $20. Adults and teens get in for $6 with a child. Add-on packages available.

Holiday Lighting Festival // Denton
When: Dec. 4, 2–6pm & Dec. 5, 1–5pm
What to know: Enjoy the drive-thru version of this annual event and reserve your spot to see Santa in an inflatable snow globe. When you drive through, you’ll receive a goodie bag where 10 goodie bags have a golden ticket inside that awards the winner with a personalized visit from Santa as well as gift cards to event vendors. Photos are $5 and will be contactless to ensure health and safety.

What to know: The Alto Express will deliver “On-Demand Santa” to Alto members in the Metroplex. If you choose to donate to Toys for Tots through the Alto website as well, you’ll be entered for a chance to win a 10-minute visit with the man in red outside your home. Not a member yet? Alto offers the first month of membership for free.

East Dallas Santa // Dallas
When: Now through Dec. 26
What to know: All-virtual visits are available for individuals or virtual parties; you can also get pre-recorded, personalized videos for the kiddos. Bedtime stories with Mrs. Claus are also available. Visits start at $25.

NorthPark Center // Dallas
When: Through Dec. 23
What to know: Slots are booking up quickly! Check back on Dec. 2 at noon for the next release of time slots. Cost is $24.95 and will benefit Children’s Health.
