Location: 4302 Williford Road, at the corner of Bryan Street and Williford Road in Sachse.
What makes it noteworthy: Older kids will love racing others down the big triple slides, while younger kids can race each other down the smaller double slides, or swing on the playground’s two swings. Salmon Park also has a round monkey bar section and a rock climbing wall for kids who love climbing.
Extras: A large covered pavilion is next to the play set that has several picnic benches underneath. There are restrooms, a baseball field, a kickball field and a basketball court available for use at this park. A cover shades the playground, so kids can play during the hottest times of the year.
Safety: This playground received an A* on the Playground Safety Report Card. There are no obvious dangers to look out for, as everything is very clean, open and well-maintained.
