This playground is named after Eagleton Construction owner Russell Eagleton of Azle, who suffered a spinal cord injury while installing a playground. He now uses a wheelchair and in his honor, more than 100 volunteers installed the inclusive playground in one weekend. The playground features adaptive swings and wheelchair access to the larger of the two play structures.
Extras: Head further into the park to spend some time on the shore of Eagle Mountain Lake or bring the fishing poles and cast off from the pier by the boat ramp.
Safety: Russell Eagleton Playground for All scored an A* on the Safety Report Card. There are two separate playgrounds: one for ages 2–5 — which does not have wheelchair access — and one for the bigger kids ages 5–12.
