Raldon-Lake Cities Park in Lewisville

Location: 800 Foxwood Place, Lewisville, near the intersection with Bowling Green Drive.

Why it’s noteworthy: Raldon-Lake Cities Park has two playgrounds for different age groups connected by a trail that loops all the way around the park. The play area for ages 2–5 has large car and train toys big enough for several children to fit into at once. The play area for kids 5–12 has four slides and a small rock-climbing wall.

Extras: There is a swingset, water fountain, bench, covered pavilion and parking lot by each of the playgrounds and a basketball court in the middle of the park.

Safety: This park scored a B* on the Safety Report Card. Both playgrounds were dirty, with spots of rust, and the ground surrounding each play area was scattered with trash, fast-food wrappers and used coffee cups.
