This playground is nestled in between the Maribelle M. Davis Library and Matthews Elementary School and features a large field complete with swing sets. The playground structure appears to be brand new with large canopies towering above, creating much-needed shade. There’s only one play area for all ages, but there’s a covered picnic table area with several tables and BBQ pits perfect for families who want to spend the entire afternoon outdoors. The beautiful playground is surrounded by paved walking trails that lead to a man-made lake located just behind the Davis Library, which is open on weekends for those especially eager bookworms. 3225 Caravan Dr., Plano.
