Tucked away in the Las Colinas La Villita community is the Plaza Feliz playground. The fenced-in playground offers plenty of shade from nearby trees and two separate play areas for children ages 2–5 and 5–12. This newer playground is exceptionally well maintained and scored an A on the Safety Report Card. Points were deducted for reduced visibility of children in crawl spaces and the potential for kids to climb on the outside of the large tunnel slide. Kids might miss the presence of swings at this playground, but they are sure to stay occupied climbing and sliding while parents relax on a bench in the shade. 570 Tienda.
