How It All Started
We’re Lukas and Crimson Nathanson, parents of three (soon to be four) kids in Fort Worth. We’ve always loved being involved in our children’s schools and activities, but somewhere along the way, we realized something: We were drowning.
Group chats buzzed nonstop. Sign-up sheets disappeared into email threads. Spirit Day reminders were scattered across newsletters and texts. And at least once a week, we found ourselves frantically asking: “Wait—who’s bringing snacks tomorrow?”
One night, after yet another scramble to piece it all together, we looked at each other and said: There has to be a better way. That moment became the beginning of Parentr.
Then we started asking other parents at school and in our community what stressed them out most. Their answers were almost identical:
- “The group chat is chaos.”
- “I never know what’s happening until the last minute.”
- “I’m always afraid my child will be the only one without the right thing.”
We realized it wasn’t just our problem; it was every parent’s problem. So we designed Parentr with one simple goal: make life calmer, easier and more connected.

When we launched Parentr, we didn’t know what to expect. We just knew parents needed a better solution, and nothing like this existed.
