Academically focused, joy-filled and spiritually rich: these three tenets have kept Our Redeemer Lutheran School at the forefront of serving families in North Dallas for over 60 years. With an Early Childhood Center and elementary school, Our Redeemer serves 1-year-olds through 6th grade on a beautiful 10-acre campus just across from NorthPark Center. 7th and 8th grades will be added beginning 2026–27.
Rigorous Academics and Character Development
The Our Redeemer experience pairs rigorous academics and leadership skills with social-emotional learning and good citizenship. Move Ahead Math and Accelerated Reader programs offer your child the option to work at a pace that suits their abilities with a foundation rooted in national education standards.
Enrichment Strands
Parents can select from our ten Enrichment Strands to customize their child’s education based on abilities and interests. Options such as Mandarin Club, basketball, Coding Club, and more allow each child to sample areas of interest that round out their educational experience.
Christian Foundation
Christian teachings and values are woven into every day through Bible stories, chapel time, and memory verses. Teachers also share their faith as concepts and topics naturally arise throughout the school day. They model and offer examples of a Christian response to any given situation.
Emphasis on Community
What really sets Our Redeemer apart from other private schools is an emphasis on community for students and families. When students feel that they belong to their academic community, they are engaged in a way that promotes an optimal learning environment. The school partners with parents to ensure they are involved in their child’s academic life and that they have ample community-building opportunities to socialize with other families at the school.
Extended Care Program
Families love Our Redeemer’s Extended Care program that offers before-school care starting at 7am and after-school care that runs until 6pm. After school, preschool students enjoy monitored free play and playground time in the care of professional staff. Elementary students have a chance to do homework or burn some extra energy on the playground. Busy families need the convenience of easy to access trusted childcare beyond school hours.

At Our Redeemer, Texas’ academic requirements for each grade level is only the beginning! Instead of teaching just the topics covered on standardized tests, educators at Our Redeemer have the flexibility to create challenges and enriched content to inspire students, taking their interests into consideration. This leads to unique lessons that include engaging activities and content.
