Located directly across from Irving High School, Lively Pointe Park is part of a youth cultural center sitting just past a popular skate park and aquatic center. The name of the park is fitting, as it has become a popular hangout for lively school-aged children. The park features two separate structures for children of different ages to enjoy with several benches and a small covered picnic area. Luckily, the park features plenty of parking and bathrooms within walking distance. Also worth noting is a sectioned off area designated for field activities — perfect for families with soccer on their agenda. Despite having slight problems with traffic during peak school hours, this park and youth center is a perfect combination for large families looking to accommodate active children. 909 North O’Connor Rd., Irving.
