Learning to Ride a Bike

Dust off the bicycles in the garage for a spring bike ride with your kids. And though you may never forget how to ride a bike, the younger ones could need some extra help learning to pedal, steer and lean into curves. Give your kids a boost with weekly clinics and free training sessions at Richardson Bike Mart, with locations in Richardson and Frisco. Call to schedule a free lesson with a staff member who will help your child transition from training wheels, or go to a weekly clinic for children 8 and older to learn how to shift gears, check for flats and give road hand signals. Clinics are held weekly from 7–9pm at each location on varying days. Bring your own bike to the hands-on session for $30. Call 972/231-3993 or visit bikemart.com.
