Location: 1663 Knoll Ridge Circle, Corinth. Park on the street and follow the walking trail. The playground is hidden behind trees from the street.
Why it’s noteworthy: This narrow park is a hidden gem pleasantly shaded by trees. The playground boasts areas for learning letters, shapes, sign language and important symbols like left, right and 9-1-1.
Extras: Although there isn’t a separate play area for younger children, there is a large bench-shaped swing for the whole family. Knoll Park doesn’t have much open space, and because of trees, it’s difficult to play games like soccer or Frisbee.
Safety: Knoll Park scored an A* on the Safety Report Card, but be careful if kids are on Rollerblades or scooters because the park sits atop a steep hill. Several neighboring houses also have backyards that open to the park, so make sure children don’t wander.
