– Size of playground may make it difficult to keep an eye on children
Andy Brown Park’s Kid Country Playground in Coppell is one of a kind. The recently revamped and reopened playground is the result of financial donations from members of the community and ideas contributed by elementary students in local schools. Nestled in a shaded area next to the newly expanded Aquatics and Recreation Center, the playground offers hours of exploration and play for kids of all ages and abilities. Each square foot is packed with vibrant equipment designed to stimulate the body and brain. Kids can scale a rope wall before playing the marimba in the music area or flying high on nearby swings. Hang out with your little one in the tot lot while older kids zoom down the racing slide. Kid Country was built with safety as the top priority and scored a near-perfect A on the Safety Report Card. 260 E. Parkway Blvd.
