Kerr Park is a small neighborhood park tucked away near the intersection of Valley View Lane and Alpha Road in Farmers Branch. The playground is very simple and consists only of a single slide, two swings and a climbing structure. For those who live nearby, it’s not a bad option for an hour or so of playtime. The playground equipment scored an A* for an overall safe design. Points were deducted for a lack of separate play areas for different ages and a lack of posted rules indicating suggested ages and rules for behavior. In addition to the play area, Kerr Park has a basketball court, a tennis court, a grassy area for kicking around a ball and a well-landscaped garden. 13226 Kerr Trail.
