Jack Carter Park in Plano

After spending an afternoon at Jack Carter Pool, your kids might want to wind down with some non-aquatic activities. Next to the pool is Jack Carter Park playground, which earned an A on DallasChild’s Safety Report Card.*

The playground has signage stating the many rules for safety and expected behavior, and also has rubber ground covering for added safety. The playscape offers adequate visibility so parents can keep an eye on their kids at all times.

The park’s rating was lowered by no sign indicating the age group for the playground, and by not having a separate area for both ages 2-5 and 5-12. But overall, this park is a great place for kids to enjoy a nice day.

This review was distributed to Plano Parks and Recreation for further review and/or action.
