If you live close by, Hurwitz Park is a great option for outdoor fun. With everything from a football field to basketball courts and a large playground area, there is something for every member of the family. The playground is a bit dated with some signs of wear but still managed an A* on the Safety Report Card for an overall safe structural design. Situated atop rubber surfacing are separate playgrounds for big kids and little kids. Parents can perch on a nearby bench or under the shade of the pavilion while kids climb, swing and zip down the always-popular tube slide. 608 N. Nursery.
