DFW Christmas

Lone Star Santas
This nonprofit is made up of individuals in Texas who portray not only Santa and Mrs. Claus but also elves and their helpers. All members must pass a background check and have Entertainer Liability Insurance on file. One thing that sets this group apart is the Convoy of Toys, its mission that provides relief and toys to children and communities who have been affected by natural disasters.

DFW Santa and His Mrs.
Two such members of Lone Star Santas are this Fort Worth-based duo, who recently completed the Worldwide Santa Claus Network Santa School. Santa Jimmy and Mrs. Deedra Claus prefer to work in tandem, offering hour-long visits with a variety of experiences and add-ons. Visits can include story times, sing-alongs, cookie decorating, gift handouts, photos and custom “Nice List” certificates.

A division of Fun Time Entertainment Group, Inc., Rent Santa DFW works with 40 different Santas, including a few Black Santas and others who bring along Mrs. Claus. Browse through their photos online and choose the one that best fits your vibe.
The company also offers live reindeer and longhorn “reinsteer;” other characters like elves, snowmen and the Grinch; and more of what you’d need for photos, such as backdrops and a chair for Santa—making the whole event that much smoother for parents.

Santa Claus Allen
We love this idea: letting your kid catch Santa in the act of delivering presents for Christmas morning. That’s one particular experience offered by Santa Claus Allen. His visits include photos of course, and he’ll also read a story to your little ones—what else besides ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. (And beyond Christmas, this Santa also offers visits for other occasions, such as birthdays.)
And if Santa Allen is unavailable, he works with nearly 20 other Dallas-Fort Worth real-bearded St. Nicks, including a professional singer, Santas dressed in Western wear or workshop outfits, and a Santa who specializes in working with children with autism spectrum disorder.

Santa for Hire DFW
This Santa (yep, he’s got a real beard too) has more than 40 years of experience and will bring renewed joy on a visit your home or party—warmly greeting guests and acting as emcee for your event. On these traditional visits, he invites kids to share with him what’s on their Christmas wish lists. He’ll tell stories and sings songs, in addition to taking photos with your kids—even your pets, if you like.
Want Mrs. Claus to come too? You got it. Santa brings candy canes for each child at the event. (No worries if candy canes are a no-go with your kids though. He’ll happily substitute for another, preferred treat from the host.)

What started as a Santa School for actors across the U.S. and Canada has expanded into a matchmaking service for Santa and Mrs. Claus portrayers across North America, including many in DFW.
