Off of Josey Lane, north of Hebron Parkway, you’ll find Harvest Run Park, which is ideally suited for younger children between the ages of 2 and 5. What makes the park playground different from others? Instead of using filler, the entire playscape rests on a rubber mat—making it safe for those inevitable trips and falls. Also, the playscape is centrally located near a picnic area with both grown-up and child-size picnic tables and benches. Other noteworthy playscape features include: one twisty slide; one straight slide; two side-by-side slides; a raised and covered tunnel; an area to play tic-tac-toe; hanging bars; and a bridge connecting the playscape to a separate swing area, which has two toddler and two child swings.
